FAQ

On behalf of the Erin Mills Soccer Club of Mississauga, ON, we wish to invite you to join us. We’re your soccer club on the west side of Mississauga. Following are some of the most commonly asked questions about the various programs that we have to offer. Recreational/House League Outdoor Soccer
During the summer season (May to August) we offer soccer outdoors on grass fields throughout the Erin Mills Area. The night of play varies by gender and group, all games begin at 7pm, except towards the end of August where they get bumped up to 6:30. There may also be a few weekend games.

Recreational/House League Indoor Soccer
Through the winter we provide two indoor soccer seasons which are played on the turf field at the Club Headquarters at 3135 Unity Dr #3. The fall season typically begins in September and ends early January, the winter season begins mid-January and ends in April. Our indoor soccer is typically Co-ed but some age groups may be separated. Nights of play vary by age group with some playing weekday evenings and others playing on the weekend, please check our Indoor Soccer Information page for the most up-to-date information

Competitive/Rep Soccer
We field many Rep Soccer teams which play at various regional and provincial levels of competition. If you are interested in playing for one of these teams, have a look at our List of Teams and Coaches for specific team information or check the Rep News or Tryouts pages for information on teams looking for players.

The Youth Outdoor season generally begins in the middle of May and runs through August.

The Micro Outdoor season generally begins in the middle of May and runs through July.

Youth and Micro Indoor for Fall begins in September and runs into early January, the Winter Indoor season begins mid-January and finishes in April.

Registrations are accepted at the Clubhouse during business hours, Monday through Sunday. Please check the website for details on registration deadlines and program start dates. After this deadline all registrations are subject to being placed on a waiting list and will incur a late registration fee.

Players will be contacted in this order as openings arise.

Please note that the following Player Registrations must be completed in person:

  • All Indoor House League programs
  • All New members for outdoor

Registrations will not be accepted over the telephone or by e-mail.

House Leauge Registration fees are based on the age/divisions of the player. Please contact the club for the current applicable registration fees.

Summer 2011 Fees:

  • MICRO (Born in 2007) $140
  • MINI (Born 2004 to 2006) $185
  • YOUTH (Born 1993 to 2003) $205
  • SENIOR (Born in 1992 or earlier) $225

Fall and Winter Indoor House League Registration fees are $180 per player.

The club accepts cash, cheque, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or debit cards. The player or parent must retain the pink copy of the Player Registration Form as proof of payment, this is also your tax receipt.

Post-dated cheques are not accepted. All cheques are cashed within 10 business days of receipt. Players will not be permitted to participate until full payment has been received.

House league refunds will only be approved up to the 2nd scheduled game of the season with a $50.00 administrative fee assessed on these refunds.

NO refunds are provided to competitive/select players at any time, unless the payer was cut from the team roster by the coach.

Requests for Registration refunds must be made in person at the Erin Mills Soccer Club. Please allow 4 weeks for a refund cheque to be processed.

Once teams and schedules have been finalized, your child’s coach will contact you by telephone or email. It is critical you provide a telephone number and an e-mail address on your Player Registration form. If you have not been contacted by roughly a week before the beginning of the season, please contact the Erin Mills Soccer Club by email at house.league@erinmillssoccer.com and include your child's name and year of birth.

The Club does not permit players to be placed on specific teams. Should you have special circumstances or medical conditions that merit special consideration, please provide a note in writing with your completed registration form.

Exceptions may be made in the MICRO division as up to 3 friends may be placed on the same team. All teams in divisions outside this division are assembled to ensure a degree of competition; requests for placings cannot usually be accommodated.

The Club provides a complete uniform (shirt, shorts, and socks). Each player must come equipped with soccer shoes and shin guards.
