SOCCER PROGRAMS AT EMSC

Rated #1 in Ontario for community soccer programs, developmental soccer programs and competitive soccer programs, Erin Mills Soccer Club is a leader in the soccer programs that we design and run for boys and girls of all ages.  The club offers both Indoor and Outdoor soccer programs for boys and girls ages 4 years to adult at levels ranging from recreational to advanced house league to select up to elite-level rep programs.

HOUSE LEAGUE SOCCER PROGRAMS

EMSC outdoor house league soccer programs run from mid-May to late August and are open to boys and girls ages 4 to adulthood. Indoor house league soccer programs run October to March. The goal of the EMSC house league programs is to provide a rewarding, enjoyable soccer-playing experience for all participants, regardless of their skill level. Player development sessions are also available through Erin Mills development and advanced development (ADP) programs focusing on further development of each player's ball skills, passing skills, shooting skills, speed and agility under the supervision of our certified technical staff.

Micro - Age 4

At the Micro level, teams composed of both boys and girls learn to play soccer in a very fun and supportive environment, using a small team, 4 v 4 format.

Mini - Ages 5 to 7

At the Mini level, there are separate boys and girls leagues. The players begin to expand their soccer knowledge and develop essential soccer skills using a 5 v 5 format on a larger soccer field.

Mini - Ages 8 to 10

At this older Mini level, the players continue to expand their soccer knowledge and develop more advanced soccer skills using a 7 v 7 format on a larger soccer field.

Youth - Ages 11 to 18

At the youth level, advanced soccer skills and strategy are developed through a more competitive, but still supportive and fun environment. Games are 11 v 11 format on a full -sized field with official referees, a structured scoring system and playoffs.

Senior - Ages 18+

The senior level features competitive, 11 v 11 soccer for men and women of all skill levels

COMPETITIVE SOCCER PROGRAMS

All Star Program

For the more advanced house league soccer players who demonstrate potential and a desire to seek a more competitive level of play. Ages U8 and U9. The All Star program identifies House League players showing potential and introduces them to additional traveling competition.

All Star team players continue to play with their House League teams and enjoy opportunities for additional training and tournament competition in and around the city.

Select Program

The next step after House League. Select soccer offers more competitive soccer for players looking to move up to the Rep level.  Playing select soccer is more of a commitment from playing House league. Select teams practice through both the summer and winter and play in both league games and select tournaments.

Rep Program

EMSC is the largest competitive club in Ontario. Our rep teams participate in the Pyramid of Play under the South Region Soccer League (SRSL) and the Ontario Youth Soccer League (OYSL). The rep program includes ages U10 and up. A key goal of EMSC competitive soccer programs is to develop players and teams competing at the highest levels of play in Ontario as well as Canada and internationally. Many of our Alumni have gone on to play for professional club teams in Europe.
