Soccer can be a vehicle to reduce a player's costs for post-secondary education. Many US Colleges and universities offer financial support to exceptional athletes that want to play on their teams. Scholarships come in all shapes and sizes, and the very best talent can draw scouting interest that pays up to all tuition costs and then some. We hope that Canadian institutions begin this athletic benefit for their Canadian potential soon. Players can certainly enhance their attractiveness to local universities who offer incentives other than financial.

Showcase Tournaments and Tours 

Erin Mills teams regularly participate in Showcase Tournaments held locally and in the US.

Several local tournaments host key College and University scouts from the US and Canada and provide an opportunity for talented players to be recognized for their talent contribution.

Erin Mill also hosts bus tours into the USA where Erin Mills traveling teams compete at US College locations. Players not only get recognized but they get to see the "competition" first hand on their home turf.

The Club also provides tutorial assistance in preparation of the US SAT tests. Soccer talent must also be matched to good grades to achieve scholarship potential.

The Club proudly displays a "Wall of Fame" that illustrates the players who have achieved scholarship to universities.

EMSC Scholarship

The Club provides an annual $1000 post secondary scholarship to one boy and one girl in the year that they graduate from grade 12 to a post secondary institution. Scholarships are awarded after committee review of all applications. Qualifications and application details are available at the Clubhouse.
