Erin Mills Soccer Club (EMSC) is proud to be the 2024 Club Recognition Award, recipients from Ontario Soccer.
The Club Centre Recognition Award shines a spotlight on an organization that has contributed in innovative ways to deliver the game of soccer in Ontario. The awardee will provide solid programming to the community it serves and additionally demonstrate ground-breaking inclusive, accessible and philanthropic initiatives. The organization will live the mantra of a ‘full-service Club’ by enhancing the quality of life in its community for ten years or more."
EMSC is well known for various programs, however most especially for our 407 ETR All-Abilities program and our "She's an Eagle" initiative, both developed and led to make soccer accessible and empowering for all.
Our 407 ETR All-Abilities program, focuses on providing children and youth (ages 6-14) with intellectual and physical disabilities an opportunity to learn and play soccer.
Our "She's an Eagle" initiative, is a female mentorship program designed to increase the number of female coaches in our community. Female leaders in sports play a critical role in keeping other girls in sports by being role models and people they aspire to be like.
We want to extend our sincere appreciation to Ontario Soccer for awarding us the 2024 Club Centre Recognition award and working together to foster innovative and sustainable soccer programs and services to help build strong communities.
